"Image Processing Workflow with an Emphasis on Denoise & Sharpening"

This is a comprehensive program that entails the complete photography workflow. Starting with image capture using color management, white balance and exposure tools we move to the image download and digital asset management. We will cover color calibration in the work environment. See how to best utilize some of the new nondestructive image editing features of Lightroom and briefly utilizing round tripping to Photoshop Plug-ins, particularly Topaz Labs for de-noise, scaling and sharpening will be demonstrated. The program is intended to demonstrate how to best utilize new features and processes to speed up and enhance the workflow.

Shiv Verma, FPSA, HonNEC is a photographer, educator, technologist and published author with his book Time-Lapse Imagery. He is a Panasonic Lumix Global Ambassador, and an X-Rite Coloratti and a Wacom Pro Artist.

Shiv has devoted a great deal of his time formally reviewing photography-related products, providing education in digital photography through speaking engagements, photo tours and workshops, and serving as a competition judge.

He is a member of Greater Lynn and the Stony Brook Camera Club and currently serves as President of the New England Camera Club Council-NECCC and Chairperson of the Massachusetts Camera Naturalists-CamNats. A member of Photographic Society of America-PSA, he served as Vice President of Learning and Technology; was a BOD member and past chairman of the PSA Nature Division. Additionally, he is a member of the Professional Photographers Association of America.

For his dedication to photography, he was elected a Fellow of the Photographic Society of America-FPSA in 2020 and a Honorary Member of the New England Camera Club Council-HonNEC in 2022.
