Our speaker has presented at GLPA in numerous occasions with different programs. This time he will night landscapes

With modern day digital cameras, the wonder of night photography is now an additional opportunity to create exciting landscape images. This presentation covers the basics of shooting the moon, the Milky Way and many other night time landscape types. Also discussed is the best equipment and a variety of location recommendations. Along with this presentation our speaker will include an accompanying blog that can be downloaded that covers all the key points of the presentation.

Dave has been teaching landscape photography for the last ten years throughout New England. He has gained a following through his workshops and tours, twelve e-books on Self Guide Photo Tours, Composition and Fall Foliage. He makes frequent appearances on photography podcasts, does camera club presentations, publishes blogs and has a large social media community.

A member of the Boston Camera Club he has won many awards throughout New England including Boston Camera Club and NECCC Image of the year and first place in 2023 in Fine Art Photography and in the Cape Cod Life Photo Contest . His images have been featured in numerous magazines including Outdoor Photographer, The Boston Globe, Newport Life, Cape Cod Magazine, and Boston Voyager and he was recently named one of the Top 8 New England Landscape Photographers by Peerless Magazine. His work can also be seen on many calendars including The Light of New England, Maine Life and Vermont Living as well as advertising done on VisitMA, the official advertising site for the state of Massachusetts.
