"Creative Advanced Editing Techniques in Lightroom-Going Beyond the Basics"

In this hour long presentation, our speaker will demonstrate how to apply various creative effects in Lightroom Classic and how to go beyond basic editing to using more advanced techniques. Some of the techniques she will discuss will be applying a creative, edgy look to images, using custom white balance to create different effects and looks, applying custom vignettes, creating dramatic lighting effects, adding rays of light, and how to change color and much more.
Our speaker is a well-known free-lance photographer residing on Cape Cod. Her photography assignments have appeared in various local magazines, including Cape Cod magazine, Cape Cod Guide, and South Shore Living and she has numerous covers to her credit. Her images have also been used by organizations such as the International Fund for Animal Welfare and others. Betty is a sought-after speaker and instructor for camera clubs and organizations throughout New England. She leads photo workshops and tours throughout New England and is currently an instructor with the Cape Cod Art Association and for Alison Caron Design Studio â€“ Hyannis, MA, where she teaches Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and other post-processing applications. She specializes in landscape and nature, but also does lifestyle and editorial work. She is the author of the ebook entitled Capturing the Light- A Photographerâ€™s Guide to Cape Cod. She believes that good light and composition are keys to a successful image and often heads out in the morning before sunrise as she explores the riches of the Cape with her camera.
