by Roman Kurywczak, ANEC-NJ
Monday, September 11, 7:15 PM

Our first program of the year will again be Sigma Pro Roman Kurywczak, ANEC of New Jersey. In this instructional program, Roman will provide you with tips and techniques for capturing flowing water in the landscape. He will discuss gear, settings, and other technical choices that today’s digital photographer faces out in the field including using filters or undertaking exposure blending. This program will cover everything from stunning waterfalls to majestic seascapes and everything in between. Water covers over 70 per cent of the earth’s surface so join us to learn the techniques to artistically capture it and create stunning images of your very own.

Our speaker has been a professional nature photographer for over 15 years and conducts lectures and workshops across the globe. His boutique tour company, ‘Roamin’ with Roman Photo Tours’, caters to small groups to provide the ultimate learning experience for participants. Whether he is in Tanzania or standing before a roaring waterfall in Iceland, Roman’s energy and passion for nature photography are clearly evident. You can often find him out in Arches or Yellowstone National Park late at night photographing the nighttime landscapes and calling it fun. Closer to home, Roman will spend countless hours doing macro photography. Roman is equally comfortable photographing landscapes, macro subjects, and wildlife whether he is at an exotic location with his tour group or close to home. His down to earth and easy to follow teaching style make him a highly sought after lecturer. He has won numerous awards locally, as well as nationally, and has presented countless lectures and workshops at photo clubs, conferences, and photo fests across the country. The author of several instructional eBooks on nature photography, Roman strives to share his passion for photography as others have shared with him

A proud member of the Sigma Pro team, you can find his galleries, blog, tour schedule, and more on his website www.roaminwithroman.com.
