Digital Discussion Workshop
(available to members only)
This year, the Digtal Group will meet at 7:30 PM on the first Wednesday of the month starting in October. Please check the calendar each month, as some meetings may be cancelled or changed due scheduling conflicts at the club.
We will continue to work with Photoshop Elements integrated with some Lightroom. Please bring images you would like assistance with or you have been editing. If you bring images you are editing, please also bring a copy of the original image.
We will discuss and demonstrate setting preferences, importing your photos to your computer and Elements from the camera, and sizing images for competition. Each month, we will build on what was discussed the previous month. If you have a laptop with Elements on it, feel free to bring it with you. However, a laptop is not necessary to attend or to try a technique. You will have an opportunity to try techniques on the instructor's
laptop. You are welcome to bring images, but they are not required.
You might want to consider upgrading to Photoshop Elements 9 or above if you are on a lower version. It is an inexpensive program and you can often find it on sale.
Experienced Photoshop users, you are welcome to stop in, but the group will be geared to the novices and their questions.
